The 16th annual Warrens Community Christmas will be held Friday, Dec. 6, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Warrens Community Building. The event is free and open to Warrens area residents of all ages.
Santa Claus will be on hand to visit with all the good little girls and boys. The jolly old elf will pose for photos, so be sure to bring your camera. Each child will also receive a gift bag filled with goodies.
There will be several holiday crafts available for the children to do, too, including making a Christmas ornament.
The event is co-sponsored by the Warrens Area Youth Association, Warrens Lions Club and Warrens Community Meals. A kid-friendly meal will be served. The menu includes hot ham sandwiches, mashed potatoes, vegetables, fruit cups and cupcakes for dessert.
The Warrens Community Meals Christmas Dinner will be held Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. The menu will feature lasagna, bread sticks, salad and more.
