Cranberry Blossom Day

Wetherby Cranberry Company will host Cranberry Blossom Day on Saturday, June 24. The free one-hour educational starts at 9 a.m. This year’s program will be led by Shana Steele, Tonya Gnewikow and Mike Gnewikow.
Along with giving visitors a chance to see millions of cranberry blossoms up close, the threesome will explain how cranberries are grown and harvested.
The event is held rain or shine. Some walking on sandy ground is involved.
Following the marsh tour, attendees are invited to visit Discover Cranberries in downtown Warrens to see the museum’s brand-new exhibits, have a bite to eat in the Cranberry Country Café or enjoy a cranberry ice cream cone. The cafe, gift shop and museum is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
