Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Santa Claus welcomes Warrens area children to visit him at his traveling workshop from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, in the Warrens Community Park picnic shelter. “While Santa Claus won’t be able to have children sit on his lap this year, the kids will still have a chance to talk to Santa through his workshop window,” said Cranberry County Lioness President Sara Moseley. The Warrens Community Christmas Meal is Friday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Warrens Lions Log Building. Carry-out meals featuring beef brisket, potatoes, vegetable, roll and Christmas cookies for dessert. To pick up a dinner, drive up to the front door of the Log Building and volunteers will bring your meals out to your car. There will be no in-person dining.

Warrens Community Meal
The next Warrens Community Meal is Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Warrens Lions Log Building. This is a drive-thru event only. Members of the Cranberry County Lioness and Warrens Lions Club will bring to-go meals out to your vehicle. The menu is lasagna, garlic toast, vegetable, fruit and dessert. Warrens Memorial Day Service
The Warrens Memorial Day service is scheduled for Monday, May 31, at 11 a.m., at the Warren Mills Cemetery. The Town of Lincoln Fire Department fire engine will lead a parade of walkers leaving the fire station at 10:40 a.m. In the event of rain, the service will be held at the fire station. Cranberry Blossom Day
Wetherby Cranberry Company is hosting Cranberry Blossom Day on Saturday, June 27. Third-generation cranberry grower Nodji Van Wychen will present a free one-hour educational starting at 9 a.m. Along with giving visitors a chance to see millions of cranberry blossoms up close, Van Wychen family will explain how cranberries are grown and harvested. Warrens Independence Day Celebration
The Warrens Independence Day Celebration is Saturday, July 3. Weather permitting, the Town of Lincoln Fire Department fireworks will begin at dusk at Birkholz Field (across from ballpark). The Warrens Area Youth Association has secured a DJ, so there will be a street dance starting at 6 p.m. There will not be face painting this year. The Warrens Lions Club will be serving brats, hotdogs and popcorn, as well as beer, pop and water from the softball field concession stand.…
