“50 Years of Memories” is the theme of this year’s 50th Annual Warrens Cranberry Festival, Sept. 22-24. First held in 1973, the festival draws more than 145,000 visitors to Warrens, which has a year-round population of just 365.

The festival is perhaps best known for its shopping and boasts more than 800 arts and crafts booth, 300 fleas and antique booths, 100 farm market booths and 100 food vendors. Booths line the village’s streets to make a three-mile shopping and eating extravaganza.

Free walking tours of a cranberry marsh are available on from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday.

On Sunday the streets will be packed for the parade, which starts at 1 p.m.

Festival hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. all three days.
