The Warrens Independence Day Celebration is Thursday, July 3. The Warrens Area Fire Department is again in charge of the fireworks, starting at dusk. The Warrens Area Youth Association is hosting their annual Halloween Bash for Warrens area youth on Friday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Warrens Community Building. The event features a costume contest, music and dancing, and snacks and drinks. Adults are encouraged to dress up, too. Please feel free to bring snacks.

The next Warrens Community Meal is Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Warrens Community Building. The Warrens Lions Club is sponsoring the meal which includes a turkey or beef sandwich, baked potato bar and fruit. Dessert will be a Queen Anne's Apple (apple slices, caramel, cranberries, nut meats and whipped cream). The Lions are looking for help with setup, serving and cleanup.
